When sharing lessons with each other about how to better search for information, especially in regards to searching on the internet, we use the hashtag #searchlores_💬.

search (v.):
1. to look into or over carefully or thoroughly in an effort to find or discover something.
2. to uncover, find, or come to know by inquiry or scrutiny.

lore (n.):
1. something that is taught.
2. something that is learned.

This phrase is used in tribute to Fravia+ of ye olde website "searchlores" on which he explained in great detail how to get the most out of the internet and resist the tendency to be mislead or funneled into a certain worldview by search engines. Ah, the good old days... That was even before so-called "social media" started using artificial intelligence algorithms, unwittingly funneling us humans into filter bubbles, echo chambers, and other such psychological feedback loops.

“Look man, we'd probably most of us agree that these are dark times, and stupid ones, but do we need fiction that does nothing but dramatize how dark and stupid everything is? In dark times, the definition of good art would seem to be art that locates and applies CPR to those elements of what's human and magical that still live and glow despite the times' darkness. Really good fiction could have as dark a worldview as it wished, but it'd find a way both to depict this world and to illuminate the possibilities for being alive and human in it.”

Phil Ochs performed at many political events during the 1960s counterculture era, including anti-Vietnam War, civil rights rallies, and organized labor events.

He references what many activists realize at some point. Liberals are the biggest enemy of a revolution. They are the legalized "alternative". They water it down, and put out the flame. A safe haven of cowardice in a world that requires much more radical change.

Here's a great article on what homeless camps are constantly dealing with. Even as the homeless invent ingenious solutions to their own problems, the City of Portland, Oregon keeps trying to tear down the grass roots solutions only to erect their own top-down model of the same thing.
