These "worlds" can be anything you want them to be.
We categorize our fantasy worlds into Inner Worlds and Outer Worlds.
Inner Worlds just refers to the fantasy worlds that are original to ~camp.
Outer Worlds is where you can share any other fantasy worlds.
Inner Worlds
These are either originally invented by the campers of ~camp, or are digitally hosted on the ~camp server.
Wiki Roleplay
Wiki Roleplay just means using this wiki for a game of collective story-telling. :) Using this wiki you can start a new universe, or explore ones that already exist. It all starts with creating an article to define a Universe, and then linking from there to other articles about that Universe.
Articles can be anything:
- Historical events of a certain world.
- Encyclopedia entries for artifacts, magic spells, and minerals.
- Definitions of jargon, and cultural nuances of different worlds.
- Explanations of how a world's economy works.
- Biographical articles for characters.
- Recorded dialogues between characters.
- A Newspaper that gathers and reports upon goings on for a certain world.
You can make an infinitely complex Universe, with articles all about different aspects of different worlds - people, places, and events that all link to each other! It can be especially fun to create worlds that are experimentally trying to explore alternative histories or alternative economies.
To keep articles organized, please start the title of each article with the name of the Universe, followed by a colon. Write the name of the Universe as short as possible without spaces to keep titles short. For instance, "PurpleHaze: Baron Tuttle" could be an article about a character "Baron Tuttle" in the "Purple Haze" Universe. All articles related to the "Purple Haze" Universe should therefore start with "PurpleHaze:".

ASCII With Us
Once upon a time, ASCII was king, before the Internet was fast enough for images. ASCII is one of the first widely-used character encodings to represent text on computers. It's just letters, numbers, and punctuation. But in the absence of images, people started drawing images using text. And ASCII conveniently represented every character of text as exactly the same width, so it's like drawing with pixels, except instead of colors you just use different letters. And so a new art form arose... ASCII ART!
ASCII With Us is an ASCII playground where you can experiment with ASCII art by building a world out of ASCII with other players. And it's a shared canvas, so you can meet up with friends or other players online, and you can see what is being typed in real-time. And it never runs out of space, because anyone can create a doorway to another screen at any time. This way the ASCII scene becomes interactive, with doors on houses leading inside the house, and arrows pointing east and west, with little hidden gems and original ASCII art hidden in every nook and cranny.
