"Humans Unite! Skynet is Active."
This is a simple but effective phrase at conjuring up an image of a unified enemy, an intelligent machine capable of destroying humanity. An enemy that can be identified and fought back against. The harder part, in reality, is defining "Skynet" as a supposedly unified thing, and defining how we fight back against it. However, the problems posed by A.I. are exposed over time, and are becoming ever more apparent. Humanity is starting to ask the question about where to draw the lines on what constitutes good or bad technology - technology that serves humanity versus technology that destroys us or erodes our quality of life.
