infinite Exploration
This is a text-based adventure game which is created by everyone who plays it!
Like any text-based adventure, you can look around and travel between "rooms". But instead of a complicated system of commands, events and triggers, it's just a purely open-ended user-created sandbox world that follows one simple mechanism. Simply type any word or phrase that appears in the room description, and it will take you to that next room! If the room doesn't exist, yet, you'll be asked to write the room description for it. So everything in the game is written by someone else! That's it! Type "back" at any time to go back.
How to Play
Capitalization matters, so type words just as they appear in the description to move to the next "room". Often words are typed in all CAPS to draw attention and indicate a gateway to another scene.
Once you've gotten the hang of it, you can also try the advanced command "drop pin". Type it exactly like that, in any room, and it will bookmark that room for later. Then, when being asked to type a new room description, you can reply simply these three letters: "pin". If you type it in just right, it will link that gateway back to wherever you dropped the pin to begin with. The only quirk with this command is that the "back" command always takes the player directly backwards on the branching storylines, whereas the "pin" command could allow a player to end up anywhere. In that case, using the "back" command won't necessarily go to the previous room the player was in, but instead goes backwards on the storyline from the current room, which could be anywhere. You might find weird ways to use this quirk to improve the game, but for the most part I recommend using "pin" to connect backwards in the storyline instead of forwards so that the player will likely recognize their surroundings and intuitively understand that "back" leads backwards from there.
Start out and learn the ropes by first trying the "intro1" world.
If the connection drops, you'll see a screen with the password and everything still typed in. Simply press "connect" again, to reconnect. It often disconnects when you first begin if you don't do anything, but once you start using it it'll stay connected a while. It doesn't have this problem on other SSH clients, though, if you want to read on.
Play over SSH/Telnet
The "Play on Web" button just opens an SSH tunnel in your browser so you don't have to type in the commands. But if the connection drops, the game crashes, so it's easier to play over an actual SSH connection.

For Android there are apps like JuiceSSH or for iOS there's apps like Termius that can enable a nice mobile experience. On desktop computers you would open the command line and simply use the appropriate "ssh" or "telnet" command, whatever that is for your operating system.
Example for Linux command line:
*Press Enter*
*type in password*
*Press Enter*
