333focus
Imagine you have a bookshelf with your favorite photos. Some are front and center, catching everyone's eye, while others are arranged behind them, waiting to be discovered. That's exactly how 333focus works – it's your digital shelf, organized in a way that lets visitors choose how deep they want to dive into your collection.
It's the unique geometry of 333focus that allows users to so easily decide how much or how little they are willing to get sucked in. This unique geometry is represented in the logo to help you see how it works.
How It Works
Think of it as having 9 photo albums (we call them galleries), each containing 9 pictures. Just like you'd arrange your physical photos, you can choose which ones to put front and center.
For anyone browsing the website, they can choose between three different levels of immersion to decide how much or how little they want to get sucked in by any user's page. These are represented by the different colors in the logo. There is a one by one square, a two by two square, and a three by three square. You will see at the top-right there are buttons corresponding with each view. This tells you what view you're in.
Quick Peek (Deep-dive)
Like picking up the first photo album on your shelf
- Shows all 9 pictures from your first gallery. (9 pictures total)
- Perfect for visitors who want to just see what's important to you.
- No distractions – all other galleries remain completely hidden.
- If you had a chance to have someone's attention for 9 pictures, what would you say? This gallery represents whatever is most important to you to show to others.
Casual Browse (Skim)
Like pulling out the first few albums and looking at their highlights
- Shows the first 4 pictures from your first 4 galleries. (16 pictures total)
- Great for getting the general idea without getting sucked down a rabbit hole.
- Think of this as a "shallow glance", glimpsing what subjects are most important to someone without going very deep into any of the topics.
- This means everyone puts extra effort into choosing the first 4 pictures in the first 4 galleries. This is probably the most common "view" people use.
Full Experience (Big Picture)
Like spending an afternoon going through all your albums
- Access to all 9 pictures across all 9 galleries. (81 pictures total)
- For those who want to see everything you have to share.
- Often people switch to this view after their curiosity was piqued by either the "deep-dive" view, or the "skim" view.
Philosophy
Here's what makes 333focus special: it puts you in control, not algorithms. No endless scrolling, no addictive features – just intentional sharing and viewing. Plus, every page can have a mirror on the Tor network, making your content resilient to censorship and ensuring your voice stays heard. The Resistance
By using 333focus, you're choosing a more thoughtful way to share and consume content online. You're part of a movement that values intention over addiction, privacy over surveillance, and genuine connection over algorithmic engagement.

The original idea behind 333focus is that there would be many instances linked together, run by many people, so it would function like a headless leviathan that could never be shut down. Especially because every user could have an instance on the darkweb, as well as an instance on the public web, so as long as one of those remained while the other was taken down the network would be able to change links and flexibly protect anyone from being silenced.
It's also just an interesting anonymous instagram replacement that puts all the power of the algorithms back in the hands of the people using the platform. Why would we want AI algorithms suggesting videos and suggesting who to look at instead of seeing who the people we actually like actually recommend to us themselves? Place links to other people's 333focus instance at the bottom of your 333focus instance. This allows us to effectively "scroll" through one user after another by just clicking another user that was recommented at the bottom of the page. This means we're funneling each other towards meaning and interesting stuff instead of letting AI funnel us into a meaningless coma that we can't look away from.
